Asthma often out of control

A new survey is revealing an alarming number of adults who suffer asthma are not managing their condition, and Asthma Foundation NSW are taking the opportunity to remind Snowy Mountains sufferers that Asthma Symptoms should not be a regular occurrence.

Nearly ninety percent of those surveyed believed that their asthma was under control, however nearly half of these surveyed admitted that it got out of control at least once every six months.

CEO of Asthma Foundation NSW, Michelle Goldman, says that if asthma is ever allowed to get out of control, it's not being managed effectively.
