Call for association to monitor Cooma development plans

Cooma Unlimited is calling for the formation of an independent body to monitor and guide the Cooma Monaro Shire Council's Community Strategic and Delivery Plans.

The plans outline future development of the shire, however representatives from Cooma Unlimited say that the community has not had enough time to fully debate the points outlined.

They're proposing the formation of a Cooma and Monaro Progress Association, to plan and help achieve what the future directions of the town and region are to be.

Cooma Unlimited chairman, Duguld Mitchell, is encouraging anyone interested in being a part of the association to get in touch.
