The Wullwye Creek Bridge between Berridale and Dalgety is set to be replaced, and organisers say that the response to plans at a recent public consultation was largely positive.

A newly aligned dual lane bridge will be developed to replace the hundred year old crossing that currently exists, as the wooden structure is showing signs of wear and limitations must be placed upon it's current use.

Manager of Operations, Gary Shakespeare, says that the new bridge is hoped to be completed by November, and construction is anticipated to begin in September.
