The NSW Greens are pointing to recent hunting accidents and even deaths in Australia and New Zealand over the past few years.
They're saying that the incidents should act as a wakeup call to Premier Barry O'Farrell and the recent move to expand recreational hunting access to areas of Kosziuszko National Park.
The move was made in direct and open exchange for the vote of the Shooters party to facilitate the sale of state-owned electricity assets.
Greens MP and Environment Spokesperson, Cate Faehrmann, says that allowing shooters into national parks is putting lives at risk, and the greens have joined Opposition leader John Robertson in reporting Barry O'Farrell to the Independent Commission Against Corruption.
