Funding for rural and remote childcare services will be cut by the 30th of June next year and will not be replaced.
Federal Member for Eden Monaro, Dr Mike Kelly, is calling on the Turnbull government to continue the funding.
At a Senate Committee inquiry last, week negative impacts that the Bill will have on rural children were outlined.
Specific to Eden-Monaro, the award winning mobile childcare service Puggles will be lost.
The service provides child socialisation, community building and educational services to communities across the Snowy Mountains.blog comments powered by Disqus
